In her 30-year career in healthcare, Kim has created and implemented numerous programs with proven results. As a Vanderbilt University graduate, registered nurse and cancer support programs director including overseeing navigation and support services, Kim is a Nashville Healthcare Hero, March of Dimes Nursing Administrator of the Year winner, and her program won the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators-Program of the Year. She was a pioneer implementing breast health and screening navigation programs, developing and running one of the largest programs in the nation with over 40,000 mammograms and 1,050 breast cancer diagnoses yearly. She completed a study where navigated patients showed a decrease in 1.25-day length of stay. Kim utilized her vast experience in breast program development to develop a world class lung program.
